Frequently Asked Questions
How much will my tattoo cost?
1
Pricing is quoted based on an estimate of session length at $150/ hour. How much your tattoo costs will factor in that rate, time spent, and the placement. Tipping 20% on the final cost is customary but not expected.
Please ask for a quote before booking for the best idea of price or include a maximum budget in the notes of your booking form.
What if I don’t know what tattoo I want?
2
I’m always available by email or DM (email preferred) to discuss ideas for you if you can’t decide between flash designs and I’m happy to consider options on the day-of the session! It’s your body and your tattoo, so chatting through ideas to help you figure it out is time well spent. Send your ideas or questions to me at yourdogsteeth@gmail.com
How should I prepare for my tattoo?
3
Please come with a snack and be well hydrated! Get good sleep the night before and please do not come in hungover or high/ drunk.
Can I bring a friend?
4
Space at the shop is limited; please ask before the day of the session if you need to bring a friend or partner.
Yes! My minimum is $200. You’re welcome to choose a second or third small piece to meet the minimum.
Do you have a minimum?
5
What are the rules of the non-refundable deposit?
6
Your deposit is paid in order to book your appointment and will be subtracted from the final cost of your tattoo. It is non-refundable, meaning if you do not show up to your appointment or do not give at least 48 hours’ notice that you will be missing your appointment, your deposit is forfeit. You will need to put down another deposit to book another tattoo. You may reschedule your appointment once on the same deposit.
Can I get a custom design? How do I book a custom with you?
7
Yes! I love to make customs. To submit a custom request, email me at yourdogsteeth@gmail.com or DM me @yourdogsteeth on IG to start the conversation. If it’s a good fit for both of us, I’ll send you a private booking link and you’ll select your date (at least 2 weeks out to give me enough drawing time.)
